New Orchard/Vineyard

 We are currently clearing land for a 4-5 acre orchard and vineyard in our field in West Whately known as Duppy Lot.  The 14 acres that we will be clearing was used for orchard production in the past, and we are very excited to diversify the farm as well as clean up our fields (the majority of what we are clearing are invasive vine species and young pines).  Larry, Delroy and Glenmore have been working hard to make some headway.  Pictures coming soon!

New Greenhouse and Renovations for the Old

Our crew (mainly Larry and Delroy) has been working diligently to add ridge vents to our older greenhouses as well as erecting a new "Greenhouse Number 6" where our current "Little Long House" sits.  The ridge vents are a low impact means of venting the greenhouses.  As of right now, we have large vent fans that use a large amount of electricity, are noisy, and do not actually vent well in the sweltering summer months.  These new ridge vents are already in place on our large grow-houses "Number 4" and "Number 5", and will only use electricity when opening and closing.  A natural flow of cool air is carried through our side roll-ups and gently circulates the hot air out of the vent that spans the entire length of the house!
