PYOpeasR"Being a member of the Enterprise Farm CSA has been one of the best things I have ever done. I was excited at the beginning at the thought of picking up fresh vegetables and knowing WHERE they are from. As time went on, Tuesday became the BEST day of the week. When I come into the office, people tease me...'It's Tuesday, Teresa! It's farm day!' I love knowing that I am making a tiny difference, the food is great and the people on staff are amazing. Jiyanna has been so helpful and kind. I have recommended you to so many and I am looking forward to visiting on a Saturday soon. During the summer months, I came almost every Saturday to get a bouquet of flowers and gather a bit of whatever the PYO was. It was an amazing first experience with a CSA....Why wouldn’t everyone do this? Thank you!" -Teresa W., Hatfield, MA

"I'm pretty sure there's a bumper sticker affixed on cars around the country reading 'Hug Your Farmer,' or 'If You Ate Today, Hug a Farmer.' I've even thought of slapping something like that on my car, because I so appreciate the amazing food I get from Enterprise Farm's Local share in the summer months, and East Coast share throughout the winter months. The weekly visits to the Food Shed usually leave me feeling good about the food choices we are making as a family. My kids squeal when we load up kale, because I make crispy kale chips which they scarf down like I did with Doritos when I was was a kid. But even more than all the good food is the relationship I am building with the folks at Enterprise Farm. Last Tuesday, I walked into the Shed -- 10 minutes before closing, kids left in the car outside so they can finish poking each other and having their 'she's annoying me!' fights out of my earshot. I walk in, hat a little askew, looking frazzled and frustrated. I take a deep breath, ready to load up my bag and head back into the fray of the car full of hungry, fighting kids before anyone notices. Dave Jackson sees me from across the room, shouts to me, 'Hey Neighbor!' Not the kind of fake or sarcastic 'hey neighbor,' but the real kind because we really are neighbors. 'You look like you need a hug.' I can't deny it. I do. And then this big, bearded farmer who provides me and my family healthy food choices throughout the year, the one I feel so grateful to, gives me a gigantic hug. My blood pressure drops. I feel better. I drive the short ride home glowing with the knowledge that my farmer knows me, sees me, cares about me. And the kids are quiet – because their mouths are stuffed with apples from up the street." - Sarah R., Hatfield, MA
